After a first career in the IT Service industry, Dean finally found a use for his Chemical Engineering education in the distilling world at the newly formed Cotswolds Distillery.

His roles here included tour guide, R&D distiller and delivering whisky and gin blending masterclasses. Dean relocated to Bude in 2019 with his wife Michele for her to start a gun dog training school. He then joined The Cornish Distilling Co and took on the role of tour manager and supporting Tom on the distillery floor.

Outside of work his hobbies include brewing beer, playing guitar and drinking whisky (and rum of course!).
